Nate and ENVEEKAY executive produced the immersive Tooting Arts Club production of Stephen Sondheim’s musical masterpiece, playing an 18-month nearly sold-out run at New York City’s Barrow Street Theatre. Opening on March 1, 2017, the production won the 2017 Lucille Lortel Award, was nominated for several Drama Desk awards, and named to BEST OF! 2017 lists for TIME Magazine, The Hollywood Reporter, Variety, Forbes, BuzzFeed, Forbes, Entertainment Weekly, HuffPost, and the Daily Beast. The intimate production, with a capacity of only 133, situated audience members immediately inside the performance within a 360 degree, fully-realize pie shop. Bill Yosses, former White House executive pastry chef to Presidents Obama and Bush, was official pie maker and served a pre-show meal of pie and mash to audiences. The production followed sold-out runs in London where it debuted at Harrington’s Pie and Mash Shop and then on the West End at Shaftesbury Avenue.
